Concept Art

Cuckoo Clock Concept Art

This Concept Art was created to visualize the Cuckoo Clock for layout and modeling reason. This was the main asset that I was able to bring all the way through the pipeline from concept to final surfacing. Originally, we wanted the clock to chime and bring out the bird through the doors as seen in the art, but this was later scrapped due to it being distracting to the main focal point of our story.

Different Animal Tests for Main Characters

Early on in our story process, I was asked to help create concept art for the main characters of our short. The original idea was to use cats, but the team wanted to see what different animals we could use while the primary character artist kept working on the original cats. These are artworks I made of different options we could use, and different color patterns for cats. I used vintage ceramic animal figures as reference for these concepts. In the end, they were scrapped, but the deer where placed into picture frames for our scene.
